American Airlines Center

American Airlines Center is a stadium in Dallas that has 20,000 capacity. It is the home of two of the city’s beloved teams namely the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. There were several moments in the arena that will forever be in the memories of sports fans. One moment that stands out was when the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA title back in 2004. The MVP was Dirk Nowitzki and he had a stellar supporting cast in Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler, and Jason Kidd. They were able to defeat the big three of the Miami Heat in six pretty exciting games. The Heat consisted of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. Since then, the Mavericks haven’t been able to get out of the first round of the playoffs. However, they have a lot to be excited about since they have one of basketball’s fastest rising starts in Luka Doncic. At just 22 years old, he has already broken plenty of records in the NBA and he looks to do even more in the future.

There are several food stands in American Airlines Center so you will surely never be hungry there. In fact, there is a variety of food options from hotdogs to tacos. There is also a souvenir shop for the Stars and the Mavericks so that you can cheer for your favorite sports team in the best way possible. There is definitely nothing like being able to cheer for them live at the arena. We all know these players give their hearts out whenever they take the hockey rink or the basketball court for the fans. There is a tour but is still subject to the availability so it would be best to schedule in advance so that you would get a schedule that would be preferable to everyone involved. American Airlines Center is 20 years old but the Dallas Mavericks won’t call it their home forever. They are scheduled to be there until 2031 and after that, nobody knows where they will play their home games. One thing is for sure, by that time, the Mavericks and Stars would have already made plenty of memories that will live in the heart of sports fans for a pretty long time. As expected, all security personnel entering the American Airlines Center will search all personal belongings including bags so that no prohibited items will be allowed inside the arena.
