Nasher Sculpture Center
Nestled in Northern Texas, Dallas city is one of the largest cities in the Southern U.S. The city was developed thanks to the construction of the railroad lines in the area. Nasher Sculpture Center
Nasher Sculpture Center is one of the best places to visit in the art district. It has an indoor and outdoor gallery that grabs the attention of locals and tourists alike. The gallery showcases around 300 artworks, some of which are from contemporary artists. So if you like Matisse, Rodin and Picasso, you will surely find them here.
Aside from the marble sculptures and massive installations, the centre also offers other activities. They host different lectures and workshops that aim to pique the interests of adults in learning more about the artworks. The museum also offers free admission to children every first Saturday of the month.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, there are tours available for you to join. The tours start at 10 and 11 am, respectively, and the price already includes the admission fee. However, to be included in the tour, guests must reserve a slot as early as three weeks before their planned visits – that’s how many people want a tour of Nasher Sculpture Center!
If you do decide to visit the art district and drop by the Nasher Sculpture Center, it is located near the Olive and Flora stop of the M-Line Trolley. If you don’t have a car or you don’t want to drive, you can get to the centre by taking the Green, Blue, Orange or Red rail lines that pass by the Arts District.
