You must admit villains often use these bulletproof glasses in action movies in order to get away from the heroes. There is a reason why it is often used to protect high profile people such as the president of the country. There can be plenty of assassination attempts for that person but not a lot of them really succeed due to the fact that the bullets won’t go through the glass. There is a possibility that the glass will slightly break but the bullets will never go through the glass which is good news for the person on the other side of it.
